The Kentucky 4 H State Shooting Sports Competition held annually in September is the culminating event for youth enrolled in a county 4 H Shooting Sports program The first day of competition Saturday is held at the Bluegrass Sportsmen s League in Wilmore Youth compete in all disciplines except shotgun on this day This event is designed to develop independence promote safe and responsible shooting practices and provide a goal to work towards for youth involved within the program Each day of competition ends with an awards ceremony recognizing both individuals and teams When September 10th 11th 2022
